Responsibilities
- Create high-quality, accurate 3D digital surface models that communicate conceptual design intent using Autodesk Alias or ICEM Surf
- Develop digital surfaces from the concept stage through production-ready quality for tooling release
- Advise on and recommend solutions to overcome design and engineering challenges
- Contribute to a variety of projects, including advanced design, show cars, and production vehicles
- Collaborate closely with Design and Engineering teams to maintain design intent and production feasibility
- Communicate effectively across cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution
Qualifications
- 8+ years of surfacing experience with Alias or ICEM Surf in a top tier, preferably production environment.
- Class A or production experience
- An understanding of visualization software, Catia or Grasshopper is also beneficial
- Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Automotive Design, Industrial Design, or a related field
