- Manage internal and external testing efforts (e.g., structures, systems, components, subcomponents) during Lucid’s product development process.
- Lead a high voltage (HV) mechanical engineering testing team responsible for the design, validation, and integration of HV batteries, inverters, Wunderbox, and other HV system components.
- Coordinate and lead an internal team to ensure systems meet Lucid’s safety and durability standards, including when those systems are subject to electrical, mechanical, thermal, and/or other environmental stresses.
- Drive Lucid’s creation and completion of design verification plans and reports (DVP&Rs), including during the product development cycle and while meeting product release timelines.
- Work cross-functionally with other teams to capture all of Lucid’s testing needs.
- Effectively assign projects and responsibilities to team members and ensure the timely execution of project tasks.
- Provide direction and technical guidance to Lucid’s testing team, as well as institute effective testing strategies to ensure a timely delivery of project results.
- Grow Lucid’s testing team in order to meet company goals and objectives.
- Develop strategic and effective testing timelines for Lucid’s new product launches.
- Drive the development of Lucid’s testing facility by taking the lead during the specification and justification of new testing equipment (as needed).
