Thepositionrequiresabilitytoefficiently
multi-taskand managemultipleprojects/taskssimultaneously,
with challenging timelines. The ability to effectively prioritize and executetasksand
ensuring ontime delivery shallbe crucial.
Theprincipalresponsibilitiesshallessentiallyinclude:
-Lead
the team in detailed engineering and review engineering projects of solar PVplants.Thisshall includeclientandinternalco-ordination.
-Todeliverprojectswithintheallocatedtimeandbudget.
-Design
and engineering of DC and AC side electrical systems of MW scale solar PVand rooftop. This shall include developing
electrical schemes and PV plant layoutdetailingsuchasDCCable
routine layouts,DCGrouping.
-Shallbeabletodo
detaileddesignsofsolarplants,includingMVsystem(upto33kV).
-Conducting
lightning risk assessment, performing lighting calculations and conductorselectionasperthenational/international code.
-Preparinggeneraltechnicalspecifications,
designbasisreports,andmemorandum.
-Conduct
and review short circuit current, Load Flow calculation to finalize equipmentratings andsizes.
-Cable
sizing - String Cable, Power Cable (DC and AC) sizing & calculation;
ControlCable sizing, length
Calculations and cable accessories selections, Design of cabletrenchesandunderground racewaysanalysis.
-Design
the protection system including sizing Calculations for the protection Fuse,Connectors, SCB, SPD all DC and all other
equipment of solar PV plant as per IEC,IS,IEEE standards.
-Auxiliary
Load calculation AC & DC and designing schematic diagram of auxiliaryloads. Performing illumination sizing
calculations, Ventilation calculations, Fire alarmsystemfortheBuildingsand openfieldsofSolarPV
array.
-Designandengineeringofalltheaspectsofinverterstations,MVtransformerstations,MVSwitchingstations,Utilitymetering systemsetc.
-Shall
have depth knowledge of MV and HV equipment selection and review of vendordrawingand documents.
-Knowledge
in DC & AC side engineering specifications and standards including IEC,NEC,IEEE,ANSI,SEC,IS etc.
-AbletounderstandandValidatePowerConversionUnit(PCS)orSolarPVinvertercomponentPower/Controlschematics,BOQandSite
accessories.
-Consultancy/EPCbackgroundwithexposuretoutilityscalesolarPVprojectsshallbedesirable.
-MSoffice,Dialuxtoolsis essential.
