The Role:
You will play a vital role in supporting GWS' global operations by managing immigration and work authorization processes for our international workforce. Working closely with project teams, HR, resource allocation, managers, and external providers, you will ensure our employees can travel and work legally across multiple countries while maintaining compliance with local immigration requirements. This is a dynamic role that combines administration, advisory work, stakeholder management, and continuous process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
• Support projects in securing all planned manpower have the required permissions to legally enter and work in the relevant countries
• Design and maintain documentation with special focus on work authorisation for travelling technicians.
• Offer advice and expertise on all international planned mobility cases and pro-actively address issues to avoid non-compliance
• Engage in investigations for immigration protocols and government requirements for market entries and new operational countries
• Handle immigration, visa, and work authorisation issues if they occur for intra-company provision of personnel and international postings
• Develop and maintain strong business relationships
• To ensure continuous improvement of the way we work with cross border mobility i.e. define and implement new ways of working
• Point of contact for stakeholders and providers
