Summary
You will serve as a Administrative Officer in Natchez National Historical Park.
Major Duties
Some of the major duties you will perform include but are not limited to the following: Budget and Financial Management: Oversees formulation, execution, and tracking of park budgets Ensures compliance with NPS and DOI fiscal policies Manages procurement, contracts, and financial reporting Manages park FBMS roles and leads park PR/procurement Leads park annual PMIS creation and monitoring Leads park fee collection program Ensures that internal control and audit requirements are met and findings are implemented Human Resources & Staffing Support: Coordinates recruitment actions and classification packages Works with HR offices on staffing cases and onboarding Provides guidance on personnel actions Serves as a liaison to park supervisors and employees on staffing and employee needs Administrative Program Oversight Manages internal administrative services Ensures compliance with NPS administrative policies Oversees property, records, agreements, and office operations Serves as park liaison for IT Support, equipment needs, and phone systems Management Advisory Services Serves as a principal advisor to park leadership on administration Prepares reports, briefings, and policy recommendations Serves as a critical park of the park senior leadership team, providing insights and advice to the Superintendent
