Schneider Electric has an opportunity for a Director of Offer Management within Industrial Automation in our Raleigh, North Carolina location.
In this role, you will responsible for taking products from idea and inception through to commercialization and sales with a strong focus on customer interaction, demand generation and driving engagement across multiple SE sales teams.
What will you do?
- Lead a team of Industry U.S. Product Managers to ensure full scope of country product management activities are developed and coordinated with Global line of business to include: Voice of Customer process in support of new products, competitive analysis, new product positioning, go-to-market strategy, pricing, new launches, development and enhancement prioritization process with Global line of business, demand generation, obsolescence. As a major country for Global line of business, extensive strategy work and time influencing global roadmaps will be required.
- Drive collaboration and work cross-functionally with the Channel Organization, National Sales Force, Global Line of Business, and relevant Segment VP's and teams to identify and fix pain point, create regional growth action plans and deliver quota assignments.
- Proactively manage our Collaboration Sales Forecast process by gathering inputs from market indicators, inputs from other businesses and feedback from Sales, distributors, and customers.
- Work closely with Global Marketing Partner for planning, organizing, accessing new technologies to enhance marketing activities and to achieve the division’s goals of sales, growth and profitability while ensuring a consistent marketing message and position consistent with corporate direction.
- Coach, Mentor and raise the team's ability to deliver and exceed expectations while ensure succession planning is in place.
What qualifications will make you successful?
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to lead by influence across functional boundaries.
- Confident self-starter with 10+ years experience within the Industrial Automation industry.
- Must have well-developed strategic planning skills and a demonstrated ability to successfully lead a proactive product management organization while demonstrating an appropriate balance between strategic and operational focus.
- Must be recognized as a strong performer with a strong track recorded of demonstrated results and ability to grow in the organization
- A four-year degree is required. An advanced degree from a recognized major university is preferred, but not required.
