Summary
You will serve as a Administrative Officer with National Park Service, Olympic National Park. This position manages complex and complicated administrative and business operations. It provides administrative and technical supervision to the business staff. This is a temporary promotion and/or detail not to exceed 1 year and can be extended up to 5 years. This temporary promotion may be made permanent without further competition.
Major Duties
Some of the major duties you will perform include but are not limited to the following: Supervise and direct work of the administrative team to include budget, finance, concessions, and other administrative and business management positions and duties. Provide authoritative advice on a wide range of complex administrative functions, including expert knowledge in administrative functions. Be a member of the park's management team, including organizing policies, internal controls, and program goals Design and conduct complex business and administrative studies to identify and propose solutions. Interpret and assess the impact of new and/or revised Congressional legislation or DOI, NPS, or regional policies and regulations relating to administrative functions.
