DescriptionWood has an opportunity for a Principal Architect to be based in Reading on a staff basis. We work on a variety of projects including carbon capture, hydrogen power, waste to energy, biofuels, recycling, petrochemical, and oil & gas.
This is a fantastic to develop your career on some of the most ground breaking global projects in the Industry and would suit an individual with experience of either Oil and Gas or large scale infrastructure/industrial projects keen to take the next step.
Responsibilities- Has acquired a broad experience of Energy industry projects preferable to experience in oil, gas or industrial projects.
- Experience of involvement / development of project teams
- Experience of client management and briefing activities
- Experience of coordination activities within a multi-disciplinary environment
- Sound technical and building construction knowledge.
- Experience of overseas project work and clients an advantage
- Experience of client standards / industry standards in Wood business areas an advantage
- Good communication and IT skills
- Knowledge of 'Green Building' principles
Qualifications- Architectural and design qualifications
- Entitlement to work in the UK
