Summary
You will serve as a Supervisory Facility Operations Specialist with the National Park Service at Crater Lake National Park. The position serves as the authority and principle advisor in maintenance and facilities matters to the superintendent and other regional top level managers. This is a temporary promotion and/or detail not to exceed 120 days.
Major Duties
As a Supervisory Facility Operations Specialist, you will perform the following duties: Provides strategic leadership for the planning, operation, maintenance, and stewardship of the park's infrastructure, facilities, utilities, fleet, and physical assets. Oversees asset management, project planning and execution, financial and budget administration, contracting, safety and risk management, environmental and regulatory compliance, and long-range capital improvement planning. Ensures facilities support the park's mission while protecting natural and cultural resources. Plans, schedules, and directs work to operate facilities and assets. Develops and implements projects and develops alternatives for facility modifications. Develops management strategies. Manages a comprehensive safety and training program to eliminate at Identifies program and operational deficiencies.
