Summary
You will serve as a Concessions Management Specialist with National Park Service. The Commercial Services Manager is responsible for two concession contracts, about 100 special park use permits, 100 commercial road-based tours commercial use authorizations, and 100 activity commercial use authorizations. This work is partially accomplished though supervision of 2-4 employees.
Major Duties
Some of the major duties you will perform include but are not limited to the following: Manage the park's two concession operations (Stovepipe Wells Resort and a small convenience-item contract). This includes prospectus development, managing potential transition between concession contracts, and evaluating concessionaire performance on a range of aspects such as safety, pricing, customer service, etc. Provide overall management of the park's commercial use authorization program, including issuing permits, evaluating reports, and evaluating compliance with permit conditions. Provide overall management of the park's special park uses program (including large sporting events and festivals), including issuing permits, evaluating reports, and evaluating compliance with permit conditions. Manages the park's overall commercial services program budget, including formulation and execution. Supervises 3-4 employees in the commercial services program.
