Summary
You will serve as a Supervisory Facility Operations Specialist with National Park Service. The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the Utility Systems Branch Supervisor responsible for the supervision, operation, and management of the utility functions and oversees the planning and scheduling, facility condition assessment, budget development and execution, and coordination and management for utility related projects.
Major Duties
Some of the major duties you will perform include but are not limited to the following: - Provides direct supervision to subordinate employees. - Develops, budgets, and monitors expenditures for Branch program areas and ensures that funds are executed as allocated. - Planning, estimating, and scheduling of all maintenance and repair work for the Utilities Systems Branch. - Plans major improvement projects to the water and wastewaters systems - Directs the day-labor construction projects assigned to the Branch, coordinates the preparation of necessary plans and estimates, and prepares for review specifications. - Oversees Branch program administration processes, to include determining requirements, scheduling workloads, meeting deadlines, documenting program assets, analyzing reports, operational budget requests, and corrective maintenance requests, and using automated systems to assist in implementing a preventative and cyclic maintenance schedule for new and existing utilities infrastructure.
