Job Summary**
Primoris Services Corporation is seeking a Laborer for its Desert Pine renewable energy projects. This non-driver role involves supporting construction and maintenance activities on solar and wind farm sites, ensuring efficient and safe operations.
Job Responsibilities**
* Assist skilled tradespersons (electricians, pipefitters, carpenters, etc.) with various tasks as directed.
* Perform general labor duties such as digging trenches, moving materials, site clean-up, and operating small hand tools and basic power tools.
* Load and unload materials, equipment, and supplies from vehicles and transport them to work areas.
* Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including disposal of debris and waste materials.
* Follow all safety protocols, company policies, and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for self and co-workers.
* Spot equipment and heavy machinery as needed to ensure safe operation.
* Assist with the assembly and installation of solar panels, racking systems, or wind turbine components as instructed.
* Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or project management.
Job Qualifications**
* Previous experience in a construction or industrial labor role preferred.
* Ability to perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods, including lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, stooping, and standing.
* Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including extreme heat.
* Strong work ethic and ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently.
* Commitment to safety and adherence to all safety regulations.
* Reliable transportation to and from the job site (non-driver position, but personal transport to the site is required).
* Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
* Basic understanding of construction site operations is a plus.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
