A leading renewable energy company specialising in Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) is looking for an experienced Head of National Sales & Marketing to lead its national commercial strategy. This senior role will own the full revenue-generation function, driving direct sales, partnerships, marketing, pipeline growth and market positioning.

Duties & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute the national sales and marketing strategy.
Translate growth objectives into sales plans, channel strategies and marketing initiatives.
Lead direct sales activities and manage sales performance and targets.
Oversee the partnership channel and ensure partner-generated pipeline supports profitable growth.
Own national pipeline health, forecasting, conversion and performance.
Develop market positioning, value propositions and lead-generation strategies.
Work closely with Operations, Engineering, Finance and CRM teams to align sales with delivery capability.
Monitor market trends, competitors and customer requirements.
Drive continuous improvement across sales processes and channel performance.

Requirements:

Relevant qualification in Business, Commerce, Marketing or a related field.
10–15 years’ experience in senior sales, commercial or go-to-market leadership.
Proven experience managing multi-channel sales environments, including direct sales and partnerships.
Experience in energy, infrastructure or asset-heavy industries is highly advantageous.
Strong strategic and commercial leadership skills.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
Strong forecasting, pipeline management and data-driven performance management experience.
Ability to balance aggressive growth with margin, operational and commercial discipline.
