We are looking for a skilled Solar Rigger to join our renewable energy
construction team. This role requires a professional with experience in
handling and setting up heavy lifting equipment used in the installation
of solar panel systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong
background in rigging within the solar industry, demonstrating precision
and safety in all tasks. This position plays a critical role in ensuring that
all components are moved and installed securely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
• Safely operate cranes and other lifting devices to position solar panels
and structural components as per project requirements.
• Inspect and prepare lifting equipment, including ropes, chains, slings,
and hoists, to ensure safety and functionality.
• Coordinate with the construction team to plan lifts according to site
layouts and installation plans.
• Implement all safety protocols related to rigging operations, including
securing loads and directing crane movements.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a rigger in the solar industry or in other
industrial settings.
• Knowledge of modern rigging techniques and safety regulations
specific to solar construction projects.
• Physical fitness and the ability to handle heavy equipment in varying
weather conditions.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a
fast-paced environment.
• Certification in rigging or equivalent vocational training.
