Job Summary:**
Primoris Services Corporation is seeking a skilled Electrician specializing in Renewables to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems within solar, wind, and other renewable energy projects. This role involves ensuring the safe and efficient operation of renewable energy infrastructure.
Job Responsibilities:**
* Install, test, and commission electrical components for solar arrays, wind turbines, battery storage systems, and associated balance-of-plant equipment.
* Perform routine and preventative maintenance on electrical systems, including troubleshooting and diagnosing faults.
* Repair or replace defective wiring, circuits, and components in accordance with electrical codes and safety standards.
* Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to ensure accurate installation and repair.
* Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, and other electrical components.
* Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
* Adhere to all safety regulations, company policies, and environmental standards.
* Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other technicians to ensure project completion on schedule and within budget.
* Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and system status.
* Participate in training and development to stay current with evolving renewable energy technologies and industry best practices.
Job Qualifications:**
* High School Diploma or GED required.
* Completion of an accredited electrician apprenticeship program or equivalent vocational training.
* Valid Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification in the relevant state(s).
* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an electrician, with a significant portion in renewable energy projects (solar, wind, battery storage).
* Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
* Strong understanding of National Electrical Code (NEC) and other relevant electrical safety standards.
* Experience with various electrical testing equipment (multimeters, megohmmeters, etc.).
* Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
* Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
* Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
* OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.
