Job Overview:
Job Summary**
The QHSE Technician at Primoris Services Corporation will support the implementation and maintenance of the company's Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental programs at the Hollis Creek project site, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Job Responsibilities**
* Conduct daily site inspections to identify potential hazards and non-compliance issues related to QHSE.
* Assist in the development, implementation, and enforcement of site-specific QHSE plans and procedures.
* Deliver safety training sessions and toolbox talks to site personnel.
* Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, preparing detailed reports and recommending corrective actions.
* Maintain accurate records of QHSE documentation, including permits, inspections, training, and incident reports.
* Monitor compliance with environmental regulations and company sustainability initiatives.
* Collaborate with project management, supervisors, and employees to promote a strong safety culture.
* Ensure proper use and maintenance of safety equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE).
* Participate in emergency response drills and actual emergency situations.
* Provide support during QHSE audits and assessments.
Job Qualifications**
* High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field preferred.
* 2+ years of experience in a QHSE role, preferably within the construction, energy, or industrial sectors.
* Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant federal, state, and local QHSE regulations.
* Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
* Ability to conduct effective training sessions.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Valid driver's license and the ability to travel to various job sites as needed.
* Certifications such as OSHA 30-hour, First Aid/CPR, or HAZWOPER are a plus.
