The Sustainability Analyst plays a vital role in advancing Unioncrest Capital Limited’s sustainability advisory, reporting, research, and capacity-building initiatives for clients across diverse sectors. This early-career position offers hands-on experience in sustainability strategy, ESG analysis, climate risk assessment, and reporting frameworks. Under the mentorship of senior team members, the Analyst will contribute to data collection, research, and report development while supporting the end-to-end delivery of consulting engagements. The role is central to ensuring high-quality, evidence-based insights that inform strategic decision-making and compliance with global sustainability standards.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth research on sustainability, ESG, climate change, and evolving regulatory and market trends relevant to client projects.
- Support the collection, organization, validation, and analysis of sustainability data from clients and external sources.
- Assist in preparing sustainability reports, assessments, policies, frameworks, presentations, and other client deliverables.
- Contribute to sustainability and ESG reporting engagements aligned with recognized standards (e.g., GRI, SASB, TCFD, ISSB).
- Support gap assessments, materiality analyses, benchmarking studies, and desktop reviews.
- Maintain project documentation including trackers, data request lists, evidence registers, and milestone logs.
- Analyze qualitative and quantitative data, translating findings into clear, visually effective reports, tables, charts, and presentations.
- Help develop training materials, research papers, proposals, and thought-leadership content.
- Assist in planning and coordinating client meetings, workshops, interviews, and training sessions; document outcomes and action items.
- Monitor and summarize key developments in sustainability regulation, industry practices, and market dynamics for internal and client use.
- Support the implementation and optimization of digital tools for data management, analysis, reporting, and project coordination.
- Perform additional research, analytical, and administrative tasks as needed to ensure successful delivery of engagements.
