SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HSE Adviser to join our team in Uralla/Armidale, NSW (no FIFO/DIDO). The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our organization complies with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations. The HSE Adviser will work closely with management and employees to develop and implement effective HSE policies and procedures.

RESPONSABILITES
- Implementing and maintaining HSE management systems at both project and operational levels
- Supervising comprehensive inspections to identify hazards, assess risks, and implement effective control measures
- Providing expert mentorship and support to workers and supervisors, ensuring adherence to HSE procedures and instructions
- Collaborating closely with stakeholders to deliver impactful HSE initiatives and education programs
- Facilitating incident response and conducting thorough investigations into unplanned Health and Safety events for optimal outcomes
- Participating actively in emergency response drills and exercises to guarantee employee readiness for potential emergencies
- Utilizing cutting-edge online apps and resources to input and analyze HSE data for effective management at all levels
- Establishing strong alignment with regulatory bodies, industry associations, and external stakeholders to remain at the forefront of contemporary Health and Safety approaches
- Playing a key role in working groups and committees, assisting in the coordination of external HSE-related audits, inspections, and meetings
- Driving continuous improvement by advocating for HSE initiatives, acknowledging achievements, and actively soliciting feedback from employees and stakeholders
QUALIFICATIONS
- Demonstrated knowledge of Australian HSE legislation, regulations, and industry standards
- Cert 4 in Workplace/Occupational Health and Safety (tertiary qualifications preferred)
- Certificate IV trainer assessor qualifications
- Must be able to work on-site in Uralla, NSW.
