Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and corrective repairs on solar PV systems.
- Monitor plant performance using SCADA and other monitoring tools.
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues to minimize downtime.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, performance data, and spare parts inventory.
- Support plant upgrades, modifications, and performance improvement initiatives.
- Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
Skills & Attributes
- Strong technical knowledge of solar PV systems, inverters, transformers, and switchgear.
- Ability to diagnose faults and implement effective solutions.
- Familiarity with electrical safety standards and OHS requirements.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Results-driven with attention to detail.
Qualifications & Experience
- National Diploma / Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in solar PV operations and maintenance.
- Experience with SCADA systems and performance monitoring tools.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to sites.
