This is an internship of up to 6 months, expected to start in mid to late August 2026. Candidates must be based in Nairobi and have access to a home office setup that supports full-time remote work.
Responsibilities
- Detailed high-level report writing around different sustainable finance topics including clean energy, debt, sustainable transport, sustainable sovereign debt, built environment and other major impact investment themes
- Organising events, project management and stakeholder management
- Working on multiple projects and ensuring deliverables are completed before deadlines
- Preparing presentations and documents in support of BwB advisory work
- Developing revenue and cost models, transactional due diligence and structuring
- High-level research of key data points in projects
- Support the design and execution of development and climate-aligned investment solutions
- Conduct research and analysis across health, education, energy and agriculture sectors

- Able to work independently ensuring deliverables are completed accurately and satisfy deadlines set
- Proficient when it comes to report writing and managing timelines
- Team player willing to adapt to new challenges in a fast entrepreneurial environment
- Some examples of desirable skills include research, presentation building, and financial modelling. Experience or demonstrated capability in any of these areas would be viewed positively
- Proficiency in English is required, mastery of a second language is highly desirable
