As sustainability reporting expectations continue to evolve, this role will support the delivery of robust, credible and decision-useful sustainability disclosures, while helping to strengthen data quality, internal coordination and assurance readiness across the Group.

Job vacancy: Sustainability Coordinator - Reporting & Disclosure
As a Sustainability Coordinator within the Reporting and Disclosure stream, you will play a central role in coordinating the Group’s sustainability reporting cycle, supporting the implementation of applicable sustainability disclosure standards, and working with internal stakeholders to ensure that sustainability information is accurate, complete, well-documented and delivered within agreed timelines.
In this role you will,
- Coordinate key workstreams for the production of the Group’s annual Sustainability Report, including content planning, data collection, consolidation, review follow-up and evidence tracking;
- Assist in the implementation and ongoing embedding of applicable sustainability reporting standards and frameworks, including GRI, ISSB / IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards, integrated reporting principles and other relevant regulatory or voluntary disclosure requirements;
- Review, optimise and document sustainability data collection processes, identifying automation opportunities and ensuring data integrity, traceability and auditability across all material ESG topics;
- Conduct structured data mining to populate and maintain the Group sustainability dashboard, leveraging data analytics and exploring software solutions (e.g., ESG platforms, BI tools) to enhance decision-making and reporting efficiency;
- Support the development and maintenance of internal quality assurance processes for sustainability-related disclosures;
- Create communication packs/ slide presentations and content on sustainability and corporate engagement (Board, Inductions);
- Act as the operational contact point for reporting requirements of external Sustainability advocate organisations;
- Support the execution and maintenance of stakeholder engagement plans linked to reporting, disclosures and corporate sustainability priorities;
- Support the development of clear, accurate and audience-appropriate sustainability narratives, ensuring alignment with disclosed data and approved messaging;
- Live and display the MCB brand and values in all daily activities in order to uphold and further strengthen the MCB brand internally and externally;
- Contribute to process enhancements that support stronger governance, transparency and accountability around sustainability disclosures.
To succeed, you will be required to demonstrate the following competencies:

- Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with both qualitative and quantitative sustainability information;

- Strong communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear written content, presentations and reporting materials for different audiences;
- The ability to adapt your approach to different situations and stakeholder needs;
- Sound judgement, resilience and the ability to work constructively in a fast-evolving reporting environment;
- The ability to influence, follow up and secure commitment from others in a professional and collaborative manner
We are looking for candidates who have a:
- Master’s degree in specialized field of sustainability;
- A minimum of 6 years’ experience in corporate sustainability reporting (e.g SDG frameworks, GRI standards, IIRC, ISSB etc.);
- Good understanding of sustainability reporting standards and frameworks such as GRI, ISSB / IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards, integrated reporting principles, SDGs or other relevant disclosure frameworks;
- Strong experience in coordinating reporting processes, engaging with multiple stakeholders and managing documentation or evidence requirements;
- Good command of Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and PowerPoint;
- Experience with ESG reporting platforms, dashboards, data management tools or project tracking tools would be an advantage.
Candidates who possess the following qualification, will also be considered:
- Certification in Corporate Sustainability reporting and Carbon Accounting
A combination of both qualification & experience will be considered.
