Summary
You will serve as a Supervisory Exhibits Specialist with the Historic Preservation Training Center (HPTC). The HPTC is dedicated to the safe preservation and maintenance of national parks or partner facilities by demonstrating leadership, delivering quality preservation services, and developing educational events that fulfill the competency requirements of employees in the fields of Historic Preservations Skills and Crafts, Risk Management, Maintenance and Planning, Design, and Construction.
Major Duties
Some of the major duties you will perform include but are not limited to the following: Provide direct supervision of employees in HPTC's Intermountain Region Hub Location who perform work associated with multi-year, multi-million dollar funded construction projects. Function as an expert in historic preservation performing a variety of technical and consultative services that support HPTC's mission, programs, operations and activities. Draft, review, and approve contract documents. Participate in program planning and development efforts as well as advocating positions on proposals related to HPTC services. Direct and supervise a staff of Exhibits Specialists, Wage Grade Leaders and employees and other HPTC employees.
