Summary
You will serve as a Supervisory Facility Operations Specialist with National Park Service. The Supervisory Facility Operations Specialist, (Chief of Maintenance), is responsible for providing facility management for Death Valley National Park. The incumbent serves on a senior management team responsible for making decisions which have broad impacts, affecting an array of resources, visitors, staff, park partners, tribes, and other agencies.
Major Duties
Some of the major duties you will perform include but are not limited to the following: Supervise subordinates to coordinate organizational efforts related to all administrative functions Manage administrative operations for Division of Facility Management Project Management; develop 5-year capital invest and capital improvement plans, manage facility projects including compliance aspects Maintain and develop risk management and safety programs for all employees in the division Financial Management; Develop and manage division budget annually and multiyear programs Develops alliances and support with tribal, national, state, and local agencies and key officials as well as private nonprofit and commercial interests of the assigned park as well as the National Park Service as a whole.
