Summary
You will serve as a Maintenance Volunteer Manager with the National Park Service. This position is responsible for assisting in the parkwide Maintenance Volunteer-in-Parks (VIP) Program and for developing Maintenance VIP Programs. the incumbant is also is expected to be highly effective and work in areas of natural and cultural resource management.
Major Duties
Some of the major duties you will perform include but are not limited to the following: Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate volunteer programs Recruit, train, supervise, and retain volunteers and interns Coordinate volunteer projects and events Develop and maintain partnerships with nonprofit organizations Represent the National Park Service at outreach and recruitment events Manage volunteer program administration Prepare reports, presentations, and communications for park leadership
