Summary
This position is a GIS Specialist with the National Park Service in one of the following locations: San Fransico, CA Sausalito, CA This position is also open to status candidates under announcement PW-1549-GOGA-26-13013420-MP. Major Duties
The major duties you will perform include but are not limited to the following: Design, manage, and implement programmatic GIS, including GIS database and enterprise database management systems (ArcGIS Pro, ArGIS Online, ArcGIS Server, SDE, SQL Server). Geospatial Analysis and Modeling: Using and integrating computer models and other tools to conduct spatial modeling for a wide variety of purposes including data and trends analysis, data management efficiency, etc. Develops high quality digital and hardcopy cartographic and GIS products; Provides training, software and hardware support to GOGA staff in using GIS and GPS tools and products. Communication and Collaboration: Coordinates with specialists in other disciplines, other park divisions and external partners. Communicates clearly and provides excellent customer service.
