Our people, values and performance culture underpin our success.About the RoleWe are seeking a highly capable Health, Safety, Environment & Training (HSET) Manager to lead the development and delivery of Maules Creek Mine's HSET strategy, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements, company standards and industry best practice.Maules Creek Mine is Whitehaven Coal's flagship NSW operation and one of Australia's leading open cut coal mines. Located near Narrabri, the mine employs approximately 700 people and is approved to produce up to 13 million tonnes of coal annually.Reporting to the General Manager and forming part of the Site Leadership Team, the HSET Manager leads a multidisciplinary team and plays a critical role in shaping the site's safety culture and operational performance.
