Hosts and Game Support for upcoming Braves baseball season
The primary responsibilities for this role are to greet guests at the door, seat guests, and set up/maintain video game stations. We are looking for people with great customer service, big personalities, and quick-to-move to ensure all customers are provided a prompt and welcoming experience at Battle & Brew.
Additionally, staff is responsible for setting up and maintaining gaming stations to ensure guests have a positive experience. The gaming staff answers questions, troubleshoots, and provides suggestions as needed throughout the customer’s experience in a friendly, professional, and quick manner. Finally, hosts are expected to effectively and efficiently organize and maintain the flow of table turns and bus tables as needed to ensure maximum efficiency.
Host/Game Support
Duties:
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Escort guests to their assigned tables or waiting areas
- Provide menus and assist with seating arrangements
- Take reservations and manage the waitlist
- Answer phone calls and provide information about the restaurant
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station
-Bus tables and gaming sections to ensure prompt seating for next guests
- Operate the POS and reservation system (Tock, Toast POS) to manage seating assignments and track reservations.

- Assist guests in setting up gaming stations as needed.
- Basic troubleshooting of gaming consoles such as Playstation 5, Xbox, Nintendo Switch.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service preferred
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Ability to multitask and handle high-pressure situations with professionalism
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate seating assignments and reservation management
- Knowledge of guest relations principles and practices
- Familiarity with Toast POS or similar restaurant management software is a plus
