Job Description Role and Responsibilities: • Support product development roadmap incorporating design change and implementation to current and future product lines • Identify and support implementation of cost reduction, material optimization, design for manufacture, and material standardization opportunities. • Support Commodity Leaders, Program Managers, Buyers, Planners, Production Control, and cross-functional teams with special projects as required. • Ensure cross-functional project teams are staying on track to meet deadlines. Skills and Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering. • Technical background with knowledge of engineering and manufacturing processes. Ability to read and understand production drawings. • Knowledge of machining processes including welding, brazing, punching, bending, CNC, coating. • Experience in sheet metal, cable harness desirable. • A quick learner and team player, exceptional critical thinking and problem solving skills, ability to negotiate cost reductions with suppliers and excellent verbal and written communication skills. • 7+ Years relevant work experience We are aware there are instances where individuals are receiving job offers that fraudulently allege to be from Bloom Energy or one of our business units.
