The Position
Ashworth Leininger Group (ALG) is seeking accredited verifiers and lead verifiers in the California and/or Oregon GHG Mandatory Reporting Regulation (MRR) and/or Low Carbon Fuel Standard (LCFS)/Clean Fuels Program (CFP). This is a dynamic and challenging position within ALG’s GHG consulting practice that requires a solid understanding of the underlying state MRR/LCFS requirements, resourceful project management, and effective communication among our colleagues, our clients and state regulators. The ideal candidate possesses the ability to work independently to research and attest to the accuracy of GHG inventory and process data as required by state regulations and GHG inventory protocols and closely coordinate with ALG colleagues to manage our dynamic GHG verification practice. Experience with database programs including Microsoft Excel, Access, and/or other programming languages is desired. Travel is required, which varies based on our clients’ location and applicable regulatory requirements. In addition, the successful candidate will support ALG’s established environmental consulting practice, and leverage their experience in air quality, water quality, and solid and hazardous waste compliance matters. US work authorization is required.

The Details
- Location: Camarillo, CA and Spring, TX
- Accreditation: Current accreditation with CARB (MRR/LCFS) and/or Oregon (MRR/CFP) and/or Washington (GHG). Accreditation as a Lead Verifier is preferred. Candidates with RFS QAP experience are highly encouraged to apply.
- Minimum Education: BS in Engineering, Environmental Science, or other Sciences. Candidates with a master’s degree are encouraged to apply.
- Minimum Experience: Two years with direct experience in emissions data management, emissions technology, emission inventories including greenhouse gas emission inventories, and/or environmental auditing.
- Compensation: Comprehensive compensation package, including vacation, health insurance, dental/vision benefits, profit sharing, performance bonuses, and competitive salaries. Annual salary of $95,000-$165,000 based on experience
