Major Duties
Prepares and presents curriculum-based educational programs both virtually and in person, and develops and presents youth programs for all levels of students. Uses a variety of presentation techniques and education philosophy and methods. Presents formal interpretive programs, conducts informal roving visitor contacts, staffs the visitor center, and assists with the junior ranger program. Serves as a primary instructor for the park's curriculum based residential program and other education/youth work programs. Works closely with schools, teachers, and students. Directs and coordinates all aspects of the day-to-day operations and activities. Plans, coordinates, and conducts formal education outreach at schools and community and educational events. SE
