Job Description Summary:
We are looking for a Portfolio Manager to join our Energy Market department in the Portfolio Management & Trading team and lead the optimization and commercial steering of our energy portfolio across multiple countries. The role maximizes portfolio value, ensures alignment with Group Strategy, and coordinates key commercial, regulatory, and operational activities. The role will be based in Madrid.
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
- Portfolio Strategy & Analysis: Evaluate portfolio performance, pipeline value, and optimization opportunities; define contracting and revenue strategies, including CfD and PPA options.
- Contract Management: Manage RtM and PPA contracts, including renewals, new deal support, offtaker fixings, and day-to-day offtaker relationships.
- Guarantees of Origin: Oversee GO tracking, certification, and sales, ensuring compliance with PPA delivery obligations.
- IT & Operations Coordination: Ensure IT and operational readiness for ancillary services and reporting needs.
- Incentive Schemes: Coordinate participation in European incentive schemes and support competitive submissions.
- Capacity & Ancillary Services: Manage participation in Capacity Markets and Ancillary Services, ensuring compliance and supporting bidding strategies.
Key Requirements
- Experience in energy markets, PPAs, and portfolio management.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a comparable role.
- Knowledge of incentive schemes, Capacity Markets, and Ancillary Services.
- Strong analytical skills and commercial negotiation capabilities.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with IT, Operations, Growth, Origination, and NAV teams.
- Excellent communication skills and strategic thinking.
- Excellent command of Microsoft Office.
- Fluency in English; Spanish is a plus.

Salary range: ABS EUR 60.000 – 70.000
