Who do we need?
East Hampshire District Council is looking for 2 passionate, ambitious Environmental Health Officers to join our dynamic Pollution team. This isn’t just a job — it’s your chance to make a real difference, protect our community, and help local businesses thrive.

The varied case load will keep every day interesting and will help build your professional competence.
Who are we looking for?
Someone who’s proactive, organised, and full of fresh ideas. You’ll need strong communication skills because you’ll be working with everyone, from business owners to the public and your colleagues, together with an ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Previous experience in a regulatory or public health environment is essential, but don’t worry if you’re early in your career—these are career-graded roles, so we’ll support your growth every step of the way.
A full UK driving licence and access to a car are also essential, as you’ll be out and about making things happen.
