Taronga Zoo Sydney is looking for an experienced and motivated Learning Experience Design Lead to join our People Experience & Capability team!
By combining creativity, learning expertise and digital capability, this role helps build the knowledge, skills and behaviours that support Taronga’s people and purpose.
About the Role…
The Learning Experience Design Leadis responsible forsupportingthedesign and delivery of Taronga’s learning curriculum, the development of engaging and effective learning content and materials and the effective management of Taronga’s Learning Management System.
Key Accountabilities…
- Supportthe design and implementation of Taronga’s Learning Curriculum in line with capability assessments and strategic priorities.
- Designand deliverhigh quality, engaging learning experiences over a variety of mediums, includingpresentations, resources and materials, workshops, videotutorialsande-Learning modules.
- Engage withexternal learning providersin line with Taronga’s priorities, budget and procurement processes and alignment to the broader learning curriculum.
- Partner with people leaders toidentifytraining needs,prioritiesand solutions
- Support the development of Taronga’slearning design lifecycle, including brief and needs analysis, engagement and completion, impactevaluationand continuous improvement.
- Support the development and implementation ofTaronga’s approach to evaluating learning experience effectiveness and make recommendations based on data and evidence.
- AdministerTaronga’s Learning Management System,(with the support of the People Experience & CapabilityCoordinator), and seek opportunities toimprove and optimise how Taronga assigns,tracksand reports on learning.
About You…
We are looking for candidates that have:
Key knowledge and experience
- Demonstrated experience inestablishingtrainingneedsin a diverse workforce
- Demonstrated experience infacilitation,designand delivery ofengaging learning materials across a range of media and formats
- Knowledge of adult learning design principles and the development of clear and measurable learning objectives
- Experience inworking within alearning curriculum to meet capability and strategic learning needs
- Experience in Instructional Design is well regarded
Essential requirements
- Qualifications in Learning Design, Organisational Development, HumanResourcesor relevant equivalent experience.
- Proven experience with e-Learning authoring tools (Articulate360 is preferred)
- Proven experience in Learning Management Systems (SAP SuccessFactors is preferred)
