Position: Hydrogen Bottling Plant Staff
Job Purpose:
To safely operate and maintain the Hydrogen Bottling Plant, ensuring uninterrupted hydrogen filling operations, compressor reliability, product quality, and compliance with all safety, environmental, and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor Hydrogen Bottling Plant equipment, including hydrogen compressors, hydrogen holders, bottling manifolds, and associated systems.
- Carry out hydrogen cylinder filling operations as per approved SOPs and safety guidelines.
- Monitor critical operating parameters such as pressure, temperature, flow, and purity during bottling operations.
- Perform routine inspection, operation, and maintenance support activities for hydrogen compressors and related equipment.
- Ensure safe handling, storage, and movement of hydrogen cylinders.
- Identify operational abnormalities and carry out troubleshooting of hydrogen plant systems, compressors, bottling manifolds, and associated utilities.
- Maintain operational records, log sheets, and equipment history reports accurately.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams during breakdowns, preventive maintenance, and shutdown activities.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, safety procedures, permit-to-work systems, and emergency response protocols.
- Participate in safety audits, risk assessments, mock drills, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain housekeeping standards in the designated plant area.
Required Knowledge & Skills:
- Good functional knowledge of Hydrogen Bottling Plant operations.
- Thorough understanding of Hydrogen Compressors, Hydrogen Holders, and Hydrogen Distribution Systems.
- Sound knowledge of hydrogen properties, hazards, and safety precautions.
- Good understanding of SOPs, Work Instructions, PTW system, LOTO, and emergency procedures.
- Strong troubleshooting skills related to hydrogen plant systems, compressors, valves, piping, and bottling equipment.
- Ability to analyze equipment performance and identify operational issues.
- Knowledge of industrial safety standards applicable to hydrogen handling and bottling operations.
Experience:
- Experience in Hydrogen Bottling Plant, Hydrogen Generation Plant, or related gas handling operations.
- Hands-on experience in operation and troubleshooting of hydrogen compressors and associated equipment.
