Summary
A selectee receiving a first appointment to the Federal Government is entitled only to the lowest step of the grade for which selected. The display of a salary range shall not be construed as granting an entitlement to a higher rate of pay. Career-Seasonal appointments are permanent positions and include the same benefits as Career appointments, but do not provide work on a year-round basis. You will work approximately for 11 months, and will be in a non-pay status for the month of October.
Major Duties
As a Maintenance Worker WG-07 you will, Perform minor plumbing, mechanical, and electrical installations and repairs. Assist journeyman Electrician and HVAC technicians with park electrical, mechanical system maintenance. Perform minor repairs and maintenance to buildings (carpentry, painting, masonry). Operate small equipment (forklift, boom lift, tractor, snowplow). Perform minor repairs or routine maintenance to small equipment and light duty vehicles.
