Summary
This position is located with the Department of the Interior, National Park Service, Fredericksburg & Spotsylvania National Military Park, with a duty station of Fredericksburg, VA. Anticipated Entry on Duty: July 2026 with a NTE of January 2027 First time hires to the Federal government normally start at the lower salary range of the grade level.
Major Duties
Some of the major duties you will perform include but are not limited to the following: Maintain landscapes and roadsides using equipment including riding mowers, push mowers, weed eaters, 3-blade trimmers, backpack blowers, work trucks and hand tools Perform custodial services such as cleaning the restrooms, Visitor Centers, and administrative offices and emptying interior trash cans. Pick up litter along roadsides and empty exterior trash cans. Perform trail maintenance.
