The University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law invites applications for up to two tenure-track faculty positions (either entry-level or lateral) to begin July 1, 2027. We are looking to address specific curricular needs in the area of Environmental Law. Candidates with the ability to teach either Property or Business Associations and environmental law courses in the upper-level curriculum will be of particular interest.

Candidates must hold a J.D. from an American Bar Association-approved law school or an equivalent degree and be eligible to obtain a U.S. bar license before beginning employment.

Hiring salary range\: $135,000 – 185,000 , with the specific salary corresponding to their appointed rank (Assistant through Full Professor) and determined by the candidate's qualifications.
