Responsibilities
Promote a positive safety culture throughout the organization
Conduct workplace inspections and safety observations
Assist with employee safety training and onboarding
Participate in incident and near-miss investigations
Help identify hazards and develop practical solutions
Support safety programs, regulatory compliance efforts, and continuous improvement initiatives
Participate in projects that reduce risk and improve workplace safety
Build relationships with employees and become a trusted safety resource

Qualifications
Manufacturing, military, emergency response, leadership, or safety-related experience
Coursework or training related to safety, occupational health, environmental science, industrial technology, or continuous improvement
Experience leading teams, mentoring others, coaching, or training employees
OSHA training, First Aid/CPR certification, or other safety-related certifications
Experience identifying problems, improving processes, and helping others work safely
Education
High School Diploma or GED is required and a degree in a related field is preferred.
