Senior Offshore Wind Turbine Technicians (m/f/d)
Start: January 2027 | Duration: Several months
Â
to support the maintenance activities of offshore wind farms in the German North Sea starting from January 2027 for an expected duration of several months. This position is offshore-based and follows a 14/14 rotation schedule. Accommodation is provided either on a Service Operation Vessel (SOV) or an Offshore Accommodation Platform (OAP) depending on the campaign.

As part of your role, you will be entrusted with the following responsibilities:
- Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on offshore wind turbines (WTGs)
- Carrying out annual service activities, inspections and troubleshooting in accordance with OEM procedures
- Maintaining and replacing mechanical and electrical wind turbine components
- Supporting retrofit activities and complex corrective maintenance tasks
- Identifying technical issues and documenting maintenance activities in accordance with HSE, WTSR and project requirements
- Supporting less experienced technicians and contributing to safe and efficient offshore operations

- Completed technical vocational training in electrical engineering, mechatronics, industrial mechanics or a comparable technical discipline
- Several years of experience servicing Siemens Gamesa SWT-3.6-107/120 or SWT-4.0-120/130 wind turbines
- Experience working under offshore safe systems of work (e.g. WTSR) as an Authorized Technician (AT) (m/f/d) or Competent Technician (CT) (m/f/d) is advantageous
- Good English skills; German is an advantage
- Strong safety awareness, problem-solving skills and a reliable, team-oriented working style

- GWO Basic Safety Training (First Aid, Fire Awareness, Manual Handling, Sea Survival incl. Boat Transfer, Working at Heights)
- Offshore Medical (OGUK, NOGEPA or AWMF)
- GWO Basic Technical Training is advantageous
- Offshore Crane Operator training is advantageous
- Confined Space Entry & Rescue is advantageous
