SUMMARY: The primary role of the position is to conduct front desk operations by assisting customers with court reservations, ensuring compliance with CourtReserve booking policy and maintaining the schedule of the desk staff. The position will also assist in maintaining an appropriate inventory of stocked goods at front desk. Ensuring the Tennis Facility’s and Park’s standard operating procedures are followed. Will maintain and reconcile point of sale systems while providing excellent customer service. Will be required to assist in outdoor activities in support of programs, events, tournaments, etc.

- Must be or become knowledge within30 daysofCourtreservecourt booking system.
- Must train all part-time staff onCourtreserveusage and proper phoneprotocol.
- Must be able toassistcustomersonCourtreserveoperatingpolicies andprocedures.
- Responsible for providingongoinglist offood, beverage and merchandiseinventory needs toAssistantDirector.
- Responsible for providinga monthlyinventory reconciliation toAssistantDirector.
- Performs regularinspectionsof and occasional performance ofdailyhousekeepingoftheclubhouseduringshift(sweeping, dusting, stocking restrooms, beverages,suppliesand ice).
- Performslight maintenance of courtssuch asdryingtenniscourtsafterrainasneeded.
- Providesshift inspections of courtusagemaking sure court usage is as scheduled, extinguishing court lights when not in use.
- Mustbeabletolift50pounds,standforlongperiodsoftimeandacclimatetoboth indoor and outdoor weather.
- Must be able to work schedule as posted weekly;includesnights,weekends,and holidays.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Highschooldiploma orequivalent and1-3 years or similar experience and/or training
- An active driver’s license
- An unexpired responsible vendor’s permit
- Operating cash register or point of sale system
- Ability to effectively presentinformation in group or personal situation to customers,clientsand other employees of the City ParkConservancy
