Diverse Composites is seeking an A-Level Carbon Fiber Composite Technician with proven expertise in vacuum infusion, vacuum bagging, and/or carbon fiber prepreg manufacturing processes. This is not an entry-level production position—we're looking for a craftsman who takes pride in producing world-class composite components with precision, consistency, and attention to detail.

What You'll Do
As a Senior Carbon Fiber Composite Technician, you'll be responsible for manufacturing premium composite components from layup through final inspection.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Perform precision carbon fiber layup using vacuum infusion and prepreg manufacturing methods.
- Execute vacuum bagging, infusion setup, resin flow management, and leak testing.
- Prepare, handle, store, and process prepreg materials according to manufacturer specifications.
- Operate and monitor curing equipment, including ovens and autoclaves (where applicable).
- Trim, finish, and inspect composite parts to ensure structural integrity and exceptional cosmetic quality.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, ply schedules, work instructions, and manufacturing documentation.
- Maintain strict adherence to quality standards and process controls.
- Identify and troubleshoot manufacturing defects, including voids, bridging, delamination, resin-rich areas, and dry spots.
- Assist in developing and improving manufacturing procedures and work instructions.
- Support Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years of professional experience working with carbon fiber composites.
- Demonstrated experience with carbon fiber vacuum infusion using vacuum bagging techniques and/or carbon fiber prepreg materials and manufacturing processes.
- Strong understanding of:
- Fiber orientation and ply schedules

- Resin systems and cure cycles

- Vacuum systems, leak detection, and infusion best practices

- Composite finishing and quality inspection
- Ability to read engineering drawings, technical specifications, and manufacturing documentation.
- Experience producing automotive, motorsports, aerospace, marine, or other high-performance composite components.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a fast-paced or startup manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, or continuous improvement principles.
- Experience operating composite curing equipment, including ovens or autoclaves.
- Leadership or mentoring experience is a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the workday.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment while wearing required PPE.
- Ability to work around resins, solvents, composite dust, and related materials while following established safety procedures.
Compensation & Benefits
- 55,000 - 60,000, depending on experience and technical expertise.
