Our client is seeking an experienced Electrician - Solar to join the Port Elizabeth team,
- Install, test, and maintain electrical
systems and solar PV installations.
- Perform site inspections, load assessments,
and prepare for solar system installations.
- Connect solar panels, inverters, batteries,
and other system components.
- Ensure all work complies with electrical and
safety standards.
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults in both
conventional and solar systems.
- Conduct preventative maintenance on solar
systems and electrical equipment.
- Provide technical support and guidance to
clients regarding system operation and energy efficiency.
- Keep accurate records of work performed,
including compliance documentation.
- Collaborate with project managers and
installation teams to deliver projects on time.
Requirements
- Grade
12
- Qualified Electrician (Trade Tested – Red
Seal preferred)
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as an Electrician
- Proven experience with solar PV installations
(residential, commercial, or industrial)
- Valid
drivers license
