Summary
These positions are located at a National Park Service unit and are responsible for performing a variety of substantive budgeting functions. Major Duties
As a Budget Analyst, you will perform the following duties: Prepares, recommends, and justifies the allocation of funds. Reviews and analyzes financial plans and summaries prepared for comparison of budgets to allowances. Establishes and maintain current and functional control records of allocation and authorizations. Formulates and establishes effective and sound control procedures to ensure control of obligations. Provides technical and policy guidance to customers and leadership. Reviews report of unobligated balances and prepares status and justification reports. Investigates and reviews reports of indicated violations. Develops and maintains manual instructions for field use. Provides technical assistance and training to program managers. Schedules and directs required financial reviews. Duties will be developmental in nature when filled below the full performance level. Do not submit photographs with your application package.
