Summary
This position, Budget Technician, is located in Seasonal Staffing Office-Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, in the Administrative Division. This is a temporary position with an initial appointment limited to one year or less, and does not confer permanent status. All applications submitted by 11:59 (EST) on the closing day will receive consideration. First time hires to the Federal government normally start at the step 1 rate.
Major Duties
Some of the major duties you will perform include but are not limited to the following: Consolidate and review budget requests to ensure they comply with policies, procedures, and fund source. Provide financial planning advice to, and prepare a variety of reports for, managers to help in the development and execution of budgets. Serve as the government charge card coordinator to include overseeing Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable. Perform a full range of budget support duties that involve a wide variety of frequently complicated transactions. Maintaining and updating annual operating programs in automated systems.
