· Objective:
From a maintenance posture and through the Maintenance Work Process, provide sound, technical advice and direction for the assigned Craft discipline and others in an effort to eliminate defects, bad actors, and chronic equipment problems while driving standardization and becoming the functional expert for equipment, documentation, PM Inventory, and technology in support of the accomplishment of site Safety, Environmental, Reliability, Regulatory, and Production goals.
Specific responsibilities include:
· General:
o Understand and execute assigned Maintenance Work Process responsibilities to support work process cohesion and collaboration.
o Execute assigned work process responsibilities at or by the prescribed times and as designed.
o Apply established quality protocol when entering notifications.
o Review, approve, reject, and/or manage notifications as appropriate and as assigned.
· Work closely with Engineering Resources:
o Equipment replacement due to age (Obsolescence)
o Equipment replacement due to reliability issues (Defect Elimination)
o Equipment replacement / evaluation due to service change (Management of Change)
o Equipment service evaluation
o Drive standardization
o Problem solving
o Assist to integrate Engineering input into planning
o Integrate Engineering input into PM Plan development, maintenance, and execution
· Provide Technical Support:
o To Craft
o To Areas
o To T/A Team (if time allows, not a primary assignment)
o To Project Group (if time allows, not a primary assignment)
o Become the MOC / Technical Evaluation Coordinator for assigned discipline (when appropriate)
· Assist with Discipline-specific Documentation and Technology Resources:
o Equipment Information / Specification Sheets
o Work Instructions / Procedures
o Engineering / Standards Documentation
o P&ID's and other Drawings & Documents
o Software Bank
o Maintenance Manuals
o Manufacturer / Vendor Technical Assistance Resources

· Study and train to become the functional and technical expert for all assigned discipline equipment used in the refinery:
o Resource for Craft (assist with training)
o Resource for Engineering
o Provide consultation to Project Engineering and Project Planning
· Assist the Craft Owner:
o Daily administration of the assigned department
o Provide vacation relief when necessary
· Assist the Craft Coordinators:
o Technical consultation / troubleshooting and work execution assistance
o Vacation relief when necessary
· Assist Planners:
o Technical consultation
o BOM development and management
o Warehouse materials stock requests
o Feedback / plan review / auditing
· Consult with the Materials Coordinator as necessary regarding emergent materials needs, Kitting Process, etc.
· Assist MWP Admins:
o Emergent materials needs
o Work execution / equipment history data entry / storage / filing
· Ensure proper QAQC and management of equipment shipping out for repair and returning from repair
· Steward the PM inventory for the assigned equipment discipline:
o Build and maintain PM Plans
o Work with appropriate Engineering Resources to revalidate PM's on a regular frequency and/or as needed
o Assist Engineering Resources in the development and maintenance of Specific Equipment Plans (SEPs)
o Monitor PM scheduling and offer scheduling recommendations vs. PM due dates
· Have a keen awareness of daily and weekly Maintenance schedules
Monitor QAQC activities assigned to the assigned equipment discipline; perform QA Authority tasks when assigned
