As a member of the global EHSSteam,the Sr. Manager, Environmental Compliance provides strategic and operational leadership to ensure DePuy Synthes operationscomply withall applicable environmental laws, regulations, permits, and internal standards. This role leads environmental compliance programs, partners closely with manufacturing, quality, engineering, and EHS teams, and plays a critical role in risk mitigation, regulatory engagement, and continuous improvement. The position hasdirectimpact on business continuity, regulatory readiness, and DePuy Synthes’ commitment to responsible and sustainableoperations.
Lead and oversee environmental compliance programs across assigned sites, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
Serve as thesubject‑matterexpert for environmental regulations, permits, and reporting obligations, including air, water, waste, and chemical management requirements.
Partner with site leadership, manufacturing, engineering, and EHS teams toidentifyenvironmental risks and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
Develop, implement, and continuously improve environmental policies, procedures, and management systems aligned with corporate standards.
Manage, coach, and develop a team of environmental professionals; drive a strong culture of compliance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, ora relatedtechnical discipline (required).
Typically requires8–10 yearsof progressive experience in environmental compliance, EHS, or regulatory affairs within a regulated industry (e.g., medical devices, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing).

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$122,000.00 - $245,000.00
Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
