About the role
Our client is seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Senior Sales Professional for their Rooftop Solar business. The incumbent will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing strategic client relationships, and expanding the company's solar portfolio across commercial, industrial, and institutional sectors. The role requires strong technical-commercial understanding of rooftop solar solutions, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to project closure.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities for rooftop solar projects across commercial and industrial sectors.
- Generate leads through direct client engagement, networking, referrals, and market intelligence.
- Develop and manage relationships with C-level executives, decision-makers, and key stakeholders within target organizations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, factories, real estate developers, and institutional customers.
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and technical-commercial discussions to promote solar solutions.
- Prepare and present customized proposals, quotations, and business cases for clients.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. Project & Commercial Coordination
- Coordinate with engineering and technical teams for feasibility assessments and system design.
- Work closely with finance teams to support project costing, ROI analysis, and financing options.
- Lead contract negotiations and finalize commercial agreements with clients.
- Ensure smooth handover from sales to project execution teams.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities in the renewable energy sector.
- Develop strategic partnerships with industry stakeholders, consultants, and EPC partners.
- Participate in industry events, exhibitions, and business forums to enhance company visibility.
- Maintain long-term client relationships to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.
- Address customer concerns and provide post-sales support when required.
- Maintain accurate sales pipeline and CRM records.
Skills & Qualification
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in technical sales or business development.
- At least 3 years of experience in rooftop solar, renewable energy, electrical solutions, or EPC sales.
- BSc. in EEE, ETE, Renewable Engineering, along with an MBA in Marketing, or related field.
- Ability to oversee and manage diverse project portfolios
- Create accessible work plans using MS Office and Google Suite.
- Skilled in identifying and resolving complex issues.
- Prepare data-driven reports to support decision-making
- Tailor communication to team goals and activity-based needs.
- Build strong client and team relationships for quick resolution.
Employment Structure
- On-site in Dhaka, Bangladesh (Usual market visits as required) | Full-time
- Salary: BDT 60,000- 80,000
- Benefits: $250 for per month-wise sales incentive, quarterly disbursed + two festival bonuses + life and health insurance, including coverage for a spouse and children (upto 2) + subsidized lunch + provident fund + Upon completion of the first three years, the employee will be eligible to get 7 days' salary for each completed year. For more than 3 years but less than 10 years, employees will be eligible for 15 days' salary for each completed year. Upon 10 years of completion, employees will be eligible for 30 days' salary for each completed year.
