Major Duties
Major duties include, but are not limited to the following: Serves as a contact for the park and in coordinating with the Human Resources Specialists in the Servicing Human Resources Office (SHRO). Refers managers and supervisors to SHRO regarding substantive human resource issues. Provides accurate and reliable information on the administrative functions of the park. Interacts with managers, supervisors, and staff members on matters related to administrative services by attending meetings and serving on appropriate work teams/groups. Serves as the primary administrative point of contact for the unit. Responsible for the administrative oversight of various administrative processes, which may include processing human resources, financial, procurement, property, and other administrative forms or documents for the unit. Collects data for the unit's operating budget, consolidates material into an annual unit budget; sets up controls to monitor expenses during the year; and recommends budget adjustments including restructuring budget allocations or work plans to deal with changing situations such as varying costs for equipment parts, or services, and changes in the availability of funds. Serves as advisor to the unit on procedures for the procurement of goods and services, and within delegated authority purchases supplies, equipment, and services for the unit utilizing a purchase card, or a blanket purchase agreement under micro-purchase authorities. Duties will be developmental in nature when filled below the full performance level.
