Our client is seeking a skilled and driven Solar Engineer to join a fast-growing renewable energy business in Zambia. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the design, development, and execution of solar PV and energy storage projects across commercial and industrial sectors.
Duties:
- Design and engineer solar PV systems (rooftop and ground-mounted)
- Conduct site assessments, feasibility studies, and energy yield analysis
- Prepare technical drawings, layouts, and system specifications
- Support project execution from concept through to commissioning
- Oversee installation teams and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
- Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders throughout project lifecycle
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, grid codes, and industry standards
- Assist with cost estimation, proposals, and tender documentation
