We use a gas gauge (aka battery gauge) to measure battery and environmental conditions and make predictions about present and future capacity. We test the integration of hardware, software, firmware, and algorithms and help drive the quality of future Apple products. You will be testing, automating, and analyzing detailed results along with working closely with cross- functional teams to ensure product quality. We are looking for someone to develop, design and run tests for battery powered products. You’ll be responsible for validating the battery technologies on Apple products from a user experience perspective throughout their development lifecycle, from early prototypes to post-release phases.You’ll develop automation and analysis tools as required as well as analyze data and present to cross-functional partner teams.
Develop and run battery technology test plans with primary focus on customer experience\\nReview existing test coverage and identify areas for improvement\\nTriage, debug and conduct in-depth battery analysis of software, hardware and system issues\\nApply data-driven expertise and deep engineering knowledge to influence program decisions.\\nCollaborate and provide cross functional teams with detailed status and progress throughout the development cycle\\nEvaluate existing tools and opportunities to incorporate new tools into the testing process
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science field and 3+ years of industry experience \\n3+ years of experience programming in Python and/or C/C++\\nExperience in automation and testing consumer products\\nStrong written and verbal communication skills
